Mid 1800’s hand hewn beams out of a barn in High Point,NC
-good shape( barn was still standing when beams were taken out of barn)
– I have 7 of the 8 columns, they are 14’ long and are 8”x8”
– The 2 main beams, they are 25’ long and are 8”x12” in the middles and taper to 8”x8” on both ends( very heavy, and could be used structurally
-Then I have the 4 top beams of the barn, they are 25’ long and are 4”x6”
-I also have the rafters that are hewn on one side snd have work holes in them very pretty, some are complete and some are pieces but still long enough to be useable
All beams are solid and all have beautiful color snd texture to all the wood
One column has a splintered end snd one of the top beams also has a splintered end, but the 2 main beams and all other beams are in great shape.
